Each year after the All-City Poetry Slam Competition has been completed
the new Slam Team spends countless hours:
Agreeing (mostly) Arguing (a lot) Writing Editing Yelling
Laughing Sulking Crying Acting Reacting Conspiring
Collaborating Researching Rehearsing Growing Changing
Enduring Despairing Breaking Rising and ultimately,
preparing for the Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Festival.
With over 500 powerful young poets from around the globe;
in front of superstar judges, sold-out venues with thousands in attendance
and sometimes even in front of HBO cameras, when their moment comes...
